Most lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender (LGBT) people remain closeted, or at least partially so, on the job because of a lack of non-discrimination policies for transgendered people, lack of domestic partner benefits for gay and lesbian couples, potentially hostile work environments or fear losing their job if they come out at work.
